The current issue of Jurnal Arbitrer presents a rich selection of articles covering a range of fields within linguistics and language education. Topics include studies in EFL learning and teaching, distance education, and metacognitive strategies in academic writing, particularly among university students in multilingual contexts. This issue also explores translanguaging in higher education, language play in socio-cultural naming practices, and visual communication in digital pragmatics. Additionally, there are analytical discussions in the areas of syntax in Malay grammar, as well as language perception and motivation in second and foreign language acquisition.
